'The Floral Shuttle'

Transitioned from 3D arrangement to 2D textile, PHKA has been engaged by OMT to create floral arrangement as a pattern. Within the unfamiliar production criteria, the studio experimented with several techniques including cyanotype print, photo-collage, block screen print, and plant brush; resulting in the final combination between digital and analog.

ผกา สตูดิโอ พลิกโฉมการจัดดอกไม้แบบ 3D บน OASIS มาเป็นการจัดดอกไม้บนผืนผ้าทอด้วยเทคนิค Jacquard ในรูปแบบ 2D ด้วยการร่วมมือกันของทั้ง 2 ทีม ทั้งผกา และ One More Thing สร้างผลงานที่รวมกันระหว่างความใหม่อย่าง Digital และความคลาสสิกอย่าง Analog เกิดเป็น Lifestyle Product รูปแบบใหม่อย่างที่ไม่เคยทำที่ไหนมาก่อน

การทดลองหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งการพิมพ์สกรีนบล็อค การพิมพ์ลายดอกไม้ผ่านสารเคมี (ไซยาโนไทป์) การตัดปะภาพ รวมถึงการนำดอกไม้มาวาด คือเทคนิคที่ผกาใช้ในการสร้างลวดลายใน Collection นี้ นำมาร้อยเรียงใหม่ผ่านกี่ทอผ้าที่เต็มไปด้วยดอกไม้นานาชนิด ผสานกับเส้นใยโพลิเอสเตอร์ที่แข็งแรงและทอได้ละเอียดขั้นสุดที่เห็นแม้กระทั่งเกสรดอกไม้

4 ปีที่ได้เรียน และใช้ชีวิตอยู่ที่ Antwerpเป็นประสบการณ์ที่คงไม่มีวันลืมโรงเรียนนี้เป็นที่ที่ได้สั่งสมพัฒนาทักษะ ความคิดที่ใช้ในงานแฟชั่นและเป็นช่วงเวลาที่เราได้หล่อหลอมอัตลักษณ์ของงานเราเอง Royal Academy ofFine Arts Antwerp จริงๆแล้วเป็นโรงเรียนศิลปะที่เปิด FashionDepartment ขึ้นมางานของนักเรียนที่นี่จึงมักมีกลิ่นอายของงานศิลปะไม่มากก็น้อย ทั้งในแง่ของผลลัพธ์หรือในกระบวนการทำงานของเขาสิ่งหนึ่งที่ชอบในการเรียนที่นี่คือนอกจากได้ทำงานแฟชั่นแล้วเรายังต้องสามารถถ่ายทอดความคิดของเราผ่านสื่อศิลปะอื่นๆควบคู่กันไปได้ด้วยการวาดรูปเป็นอะไรที่สำคัญมากตลอดการเรียนตั้งแต่ปี 1ถึงปี 4ห้องโถงในโรงเรียนจะติดงานวาดรูปของนักเรียนให้ดูอยู่ตลอดเวลาถ้าได้เห็นสเก็ตช์ของนักเรียนที่นี่จะเห็นได้ว่าแต่ละคนมีลายเส้นในการวาดที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์และเราถูกฝึกให้ถ่ายทอดเส้นสายเหล่านี้มาสู่เสื้อผ้าที่เราทำขึ้นมา

Patipat Chaiwitesh is a recent graduate from the department of textile and tapestry, école supérieure des beaux-arts TALM – site d’Angers, France (2016) with a background in Visual Arts from Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand (2009). After graduation, Patipat has worked on objects design and taken part in the multiple exhibitions; “Ploysaeng” at Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC, 2010), “Tokyo Design Week 2011”, and won grand prize of “Hoegaarden Different by Nature Design Contest” (Thailand, 2012), “Maison & Odjet” with Plato Form (Paris, 2012).

Chris Craker (Karma’s owner and founder) first stepped into a recording studio at Granada TV, Manchester, in the UK. It was in just his second week as a clarinet student at The Royal Northern College of Music. Chris was pleasantly surprised and somewhat startled to be hired to play on Bill Connor’s soundtrack to the new legendary documentary “Great Railways of the World”. The experience was one never to be forgotten.

Meaw Prakit Kobkijwattana works in the creative company. But on the other side, he continued to work on art reflecting his views on Thai political society. There is no room for it to be in an elected government or a coup that takes the power of the people to themselves and their allies. Under the series name 'In the city of mischief, life has to be pop' with a standpoint that recognizes the importance of equality and equality in society.

Born in Bangkok city in 1975, mixed media Artist Luck Maisalee graduated from College of Fine Arts, Bangkok, and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Chiang Mai University in 2001. His works are an experiment with various techniques, materials and often mixes things that are not accepted in the mainstream. He’s particularly interested in Outsider Art, such as Folk art, Naïve art, Primitive art, Craft as well as Childhood art.

Born and educated in Bangkok, Pomme completed her BA in Interior Design at Silpakorn University before working at the Bangkok offices of both WPP’s DY&R and Grey as a graphic designer. In 2002 she relocated to the UK for a Foundation in Graphic Design and Communication at the London College of Communication.  Pomme lived and worked in London until 2013 when she returned to Bangkok to open WhatIf Design shop and cafe, and her own Happy Pomme Studio.
